kiss of glamour

one of my favorite way to perk up my pout is with a burgundy lip. a crimson kisser brings out my sultry side. In an instant I'm a moody glamour girl, waving to admiring photogs on my way to a fabulous soiree.
it could happen.

no flowers fresher than the ones at Erdem.
with different shades of barely-there blue, you'd be hard pressed to find a prettier hue.

paramount

besides these beautiful floral crowns, you'll find plenty of other lovelies over at Paramount; one of my favorite stops on Etsy. Kirstin (the pretty face behind the shop) took some time away from vintage hunting to answer a few of my FAQs:

describe your personal style: it's a bit eclectic and always influenced by what I find in thrift stores. right now I am loving preppy stripes paired with floral prints and 40's Mexican dresses worn with boots and chunky sweaters.

what vintage piece do you cherish most? an amazing black crepe wrap jacket with long fringe tassels. it's a little goth with a touch of Spanish charm. talk about perfection.

any stories about a major vintage find? I once found an incredible Pucci dress at a yard sale for $1. pristine condition....and yes, I lost my breath.

lucky.

today is the day for pretty looks from Lady Petrova and tousled up/trashed out Elizabeth Taylor hair (seen at Chris Benz S/S 2012 via Honestly WTF). why??? because I wanna.

tea leaves and stripes

art: Gianna Commito * fashion: Pugnat via Emmadime

a fresh breeze is drifting through my window mixing delicately with a burning candle. the room is filled with creamy florals and hints of earthy notes and I'm relaxed with tea, and visions of magical stripes perfect for fall. yeah, today is a good day.

first love

a lovely little package arrived on my doorstep. a custom made tutu from Ouma. suddenly I felt like dancing. so I had my mister spin me around a few times and just as the September sun warmed things up, we grabbed our camera and captured this shot. so now, I share it with you. dreams and dresses can come true.

a thousand words

today I appreciate the simplicity of photography by Debbie Carlos. the quietest photos seem to say that most. lucky for us, she has an etsy shop (this bunny print just hopped into my cart).

cosmic static

if your style is positively out of this world, you'll want these pants.

Rachel Comey + space = intergalactic glamour!

thanks for all your birthday wishes! it was an amazing day filled with favorite things and I still have stars in my eyes (and a new Elizabeth and James ring on my finger - yep, it's awesome).

32 candles

today is the day. my birthday and day one of being the woman I always dreamed I could be. a confident woman who says “YES” at all the right times and who looks in the mirror, stares into her own eyes, and thinks, girl, you got this…and you look beautiful!

here we are again. the dreamy and beautiful transition of seasons.

detail oriented
